Just a general reminder, with the clocks changing this weekend and the sky looking darker, if you're attending one of the club's outdoor training sessions (i.e. running, cycling) then please wear suitably bright and visible clothing.
I know black is slimming, but not as much as swimming, cycling and running and it's really important to be seen easily! Bright coloured kit is good, white stands out well in the dark, and fluorescent/reflectives are great for night training! Please don't turn up to running or cycling wearing all black clothing, drivers just don't notice you!
Lots of the usual online running/cycling shops have reasonably priced hi-vis stuff (I found some good deals on www.mandmdirect.com), and I'm sure Moti Cardiff are well stocked too!

As promised, I'll be cycling on Saturday, meet at Maindy track for a 9am departure.
Route is Cardiff-Newport (flats)- Magor (flats)-Wentwood-Usk (coffee and cake at the garden centre!)-Caerleon-Cardiff. Should be about 70 miles, flat to Magor, 1 climb over Wentwood then rolling home (with a tailwind, I think!).
Forecast looks dry and sunny, but cold, so layer up and don't forget the essentials: pump, 1-2 spare tubes, drink, food, phone, fully serviced bike!
