Comments

The Club Committee for 2010 will be

Chair Andrew
Treasurer Lawrie
Membership Sec Mark
Club Secretary Julia
Social Sec Elaine

The Race Directors will be

Try a Tri on 2 May 2010, James and Claire
Cosmeston Tri on 13 June 2010, Andy Mac and Andy D
EPST on 29 August 2010, Jeff

The Club's Championship race will be Tuska on Sunday 25 July 2010.

The Club will enter a number of teams in the following races
Cardiff Supersprints on Saturday 17 July 2010
British Club Relay Championships on Saturday 21 August 2010

If your interested in representing the Club at these races, please let me know. All standards can be catered for.

In addition a group of us will go to the Bala Standard Distance race on Sunday 12 September 2010.

The Club's training and racing kit is currently stocked by Moti, in Albany Road. Please pay Moti the full amount marked on the kit. To receive your 30 per cent subsidy, hand you receipt to Lawrie. He's always at swimming on a Tuesday.

Claire and Rachel will be looking into sourcing a new supplier for club kit, as our old suppliers, who are based in Europe, is expensive due to the strength of the Euro compared to Sterling.

The Core Fitness session each Thursday evening at Channel View is set to continue. As there is a waiting list for this we intend to charge a small fee of £10 for a three-month period. Participants will be expected to attend most sessions. If you interested in this please speak to Jules?

A few questions were raised at the end of the meeting, under any other business.

Yes, there will be open water sessions, based at Trecco Bay in Porthcawl. These sessions normally start in late May, when the sea begins to warm up.

Yes, we will investigate having more bike sessions. Previously we have had the odd session at Maindy Track and at Llandow, but we should be able to arrange a regular track session to supplement our regular Saturday morning ride.

Once agreed we will publish our Coaching Plan for the year.

Finally our membership continues to rise. We currently have almost 80 Direct Debit Members.

If you have any thoughts on how to improve the Club please speak to one of our Coaches / Committee. With best wishes.
