Cardiff Triathletes was formed in 1984 by a small group of people interested in the, then, new sport of triathlon.
The objectives of the club are to encourage and promote the sport of triathlon in the Cardiff and the surrounding area.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation via Welsh Triathlon and individual members are encouraged to join these organisations.

The club colours are black, blue and yellow. Kit is ordered a few times each year.
The Club is financed through the subscriptions of its members. If you decide to join we manage membership fees via direct debit:
Welsh Triathlon Insurance is compulsory to being a member. This is an annual fee of £40.
The day-to-day management of the Club rests with the Club Committee who are nominated and elected to hold a specific post for one year, at the Annual General Meeting held each February. Members of the Club Committee are volunteers.
